Archie's Little Companion

Archie was discovered beneath the wooden steps of an old house after a night of heavy rain. Soaking wet, shivering and frightened, he was so reluctant to leave his hiding place that rescuers spent nearly an hour patiently trying to reach him.

At the rescue, Archie was underweight and covered in fleas. For days, he hid whenever someone approached. But with food, warmth and gentle care, he slowly began to trust.

Then came the morning he walked confidently toward his caregivers with his enormous fluffy tail held high. The little kitten who once hid from every helping hand was finally learning that the world could be kind.
